Teen driving lessonsOnce you book a class, the instructor drives the car to your home, picks you up, gives you two full hours of training, and then drops you back off after the class is over. All the vehicles used for training are equipped with dual brakes and are certified by the Department of Driver Services.

One class lasts a minimum of two hours; however, one can take more then two hours in a day. You will be charged accordingly per hour. Afterwards, your first class instructor will evaluate you and recommend number of classes / number of hours required for student. All the lessons are private with one student and one instructor.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many classes will I need?
My age is ___; will I be able to learn driving?
I have never driven a car; will I be able to drive?
I am senior citizen; can I learn driving?
I am not a teenager anymore. Will I be able to drive?

Well, it is really hard to evaluate one’s driving ability without actually seeing one’s driving skills on the road. Anyone can learn to drive as long as the person is confident, alert and cautious. Basically, we recommend five classes (10 hours training) to a person starting form scratch and additional practice with family members. Those who have some experience might need 3 classes (6 hours training). After your first class, the instructor can do an evaluation and tell you the number of classes you require.

TEEN DRIVING

The main goal of Gandhi Driving School is to provide Driver Education Courses to our students and to make it clear that what they are learning involves much more than simple operation control. Students are learning how to think behind the wheel, how to plan ahead, how anticipate the actions of other roadway users and how to control their vehicle in order to minimize risk to themselves and others.

The curriculum is taught by state-licensed instructors who are well trained, patient, and understanding. Our basic teen program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

After successful completion of our 30+6 course, a certificate of completion will be provided, which should qualify for an insurance discount and $150.00 tax credit on Georgia income taxes.
